Well, life for me has been great at the moment. Until I sat down to think and reflect what has happened these past months. Photography is something which i had been searching for. A hobby which i love and appreciate every moment captured. However recently i juz feel that its getting more commercial. In a sense whereby as my works are slowly being recognised, I do get more offers doing coverage of events. One example is an offer from Zul to do some coverage for a Australian company magazine. I feel sad that as much as I would love to take up on the project, I'm still alittle unprepared to commit myself to photography commercially. Lacking in terms of not only skills and equipment but time.

Currently im still in the midst of completing Lukman's coffee table book. Its going to be a month due late and i've still havent reach 60% progress. July is coming and Pami is going into NS soon. 1 less person to shoot/work with. Sigh.

I've yet to conclude the workflow of my photos. Everything is pretty much in a mess. Unsure of whether to keep the uneditted ones or juz keep the processed ones. Honestly, the colours, exposure and also sharpness that comes out from my camera is pretty raw before touching up using Photoshop. Without PS adjustments, the photo will look either underexpose and soft. Im still learning of how to capture photos which need not be processed for viewing on the PC, like the ones taken by Uncle Adam. Although the photos will look nice after printing, some clients do want to see them on the monitor as well. Thats when i realise work will pile up and photo-editting will be really time consuming.

I enjoy spending time with my friends these past few weeks; old ones and also newly acquainted ones. Swimming and outings have been bliss episodes during this part of my mundane life. I didnt shoot anything today. Well, juz spent the day away organising my what-to-do's list. Looking forward to what tomorrow has to offer.
1) Helping out my aunt with wedding decor and arrangements [10am-1pm]
2) Covering Silat Competition @ Bedok Sports Complex. (Talhah, looking forward to this event) [3pm-5pm]
2) Covering Elaine's band performance @ Orchard infront of Paragon [6pm-7pm]

SYF band competition held at the Stadium tmr. Sadly my days are packed. Tix will be needed to enter and its too late to get any now. Another year i miss out on TK Band.. Well they'll probably get Gold again. Maybe Best Drum Major also. Nothing else to expect from them. Or there'll be an outcry in TK history.
