My day was. . . Sunburnt.

Like any other day at Sentosa, visiting one of the beaches is a must. You dun really have to go for a swim, but i guess its one of the few places to chill and take some time-out. We spent practically the whole day there. Food was not really something we had to worry abt as we did some shopping before embarking for our day. The day was juz as i had pictured it. Ok well, there were some unforseen events occured. Such as my D50 getting de-virginised at the beach by talhah. His intentions were pure. All he wanted was to take some photos of me chilling on my back in the hot sun; floating in the middle of Pahlawan lagoon. [I do admit, I dun have much photos of myself, it would be nice if there were more.] But fixing a lens onto a d/slr body BY THE BEACH, is something i myself dare not do after reading the consequences of it. Salt in the air which cant be seen by the naked eye, is merciless when it comes to electronic, metal and any other things which has the possibility of rusting

I dont blame him for committing such an act. It was my own carelessness for:
1) Not fixing a lens onto the camera before arriving at the beach.
2) Not having good karma today.
3) Bringing the camera to the beach.

Dont get me wrong, Im not pissed or anything. Juz tired from swimming and threading all day. My sinus seemed to have cleared after swallowing abt a galloon of sea water. Juz to conclude what i've typed out above; Im not upset due to the following reasons:
1) My d50 is going to be sent for cleaning soon anyway. There's some speck of dirt on the CCD since erm, a month ago? Crap, i've been cleaning my lens and filters daily. Hoping that the spec on the photos would be gone. Only recently i remembered to check the CCD using mirror lockup.

2) I might be selling off all my lenses. Gonna overhaul my gear. If $ isnt an issue, i would do this more often like maybe erm, every 3 months ? *Note: Its easy to break even in second hand market. Im not rich. Juz some proper planning and financing of buying and selling would do the trick. Juz like what i've been doing for my PC parts.

3) Friendships and Trusts are priceless and built up over time, sweat and blood. Hell even if it happened that i was using a D2Xs with a AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED, it isnt enough to repay what he has done and gone through for/with me.

The day couldnt have ended close to perfection. Well, the walk back to the bus stop was something i have been longing for almost 4 years ? No, im not talking about the distance. Its the company of 2 "bestest" comrades. Remembered, Recited and Echoed. NCC songs brings back memories. Sweet and Sour ones which engraved deeply into my heart and soul. Thanks guys.

I decided to do some blogging before i sleep. Finally "completed" the coffee table layouts. Of course, i'll probably spend my day tweaking them to make sure that the color tallys with fahmi's work. Looking through what we have done, im quite astonished with the works and its definitely something that i didnt imagine i would do. Now, juz a matter of getting permission from our General to showcase our works. (:
