Well, its been quite a hell of 3 weeks. Time flies pretty fast when i was in camp.

phase21 : tekong experience

My first few days of the week kinda f*cked up. I was shuffled around in the coy since there were a few people who were MIA-ed on the the day of enlistment -_-;
My first shuffle was from section 4 bed 1 to section 3 bed 13 of platoon 2. Yes, bed 13 ! Lucky eh? Well, it was ok i guess coz i felt that section 3 had a more gerek mixture of people. anaiz, my primary sch fren and the 2 misfits juaini and adi who broke the ice on that same day i moved in. The rest were easy going too. A few to name from the old section 3 platoon 2, shukri, norman, kai lun, syafiq, hafiz, khidir, haikal and jake. I know missed out someone.. damn it im not gd at remember names. Especially when everyone looked pretty much the same. =
On the second night i moved in, i "lost" my abloy padlock key! At first I was quite skeptical when Abg Yan told me that the lock was hard to break. But when i saw 3 people trying to break the lock using a 3 feet long lock cutter, I couldnt help but laugh. It was only when about 5mins to lights out, wan-ee from section 4, next door. Passed me the key which i had left carelessly when signing some paper during my pindah to section 3. lmaobahakuselengerpfftt1111.

On the eve of the 2nd week, some of us had to be reshuffled coz platoon 2 was too malay populated. 46 out of 53. First time in tekong history, the chinese became minorities. As we were categorised based on our NRIC number, it makes me wonder how come there were alot of malay babies born during jan/feb/march '86. Hmmm..

All in all.. waking up at 4am and taking a cold showever for the past 21 days is really something i've gotten used to. Doing the laundry and hanging them in the dark etc2. Communal living isnt bad. But having some peace and quiet in the wee morning without having to share the toilet/sink/shower with the other 51 people on my floor is something i prefer.

Reaching home..
Everything in my room is in the same state as i had left them be. It felt as if i've only been gone only a day. Well i've been busy fitting back into my civilian routine. I've formatted my pc and partitioned my files on my spanking new 160gb hitachi and made my 80gb western-d my back up. Sorting files is ok. But sorting photos... Haiya. Leceh sia. Im still in the midst of getting my workflow right..

110010001000100101000101001011001....[There's plenty i wanna write about. But im juz too lazy to blog about it. I wanted to start a diary but there wasnt much time to write entries. Furthermore i realise my handwriting kinda look pretty bad (lmao) and also life there is getting pretty much routined.. Perhaps i'll blog weekly to record some of the enjoyable moments during my holiday camp. Free lodging, good food, free exercise & gym and people to push you to your physical limits. what more can you ask for? Oh yea, we have a tv too in camp. i dont watch tv even when im at home, so i guess that wont mean much anyway.. imbeginningtolovetekong. a place where i can get my current self lost & rediscover what i've been lacking in life No emotions. No strings. No more promises. well as the banner says, "its not about what you leave behind, its about what you gain in the days ahead."]

[/end of an unconstructive entry.]
