It ended sooner than i expected. 21 days in Taiwan. Countless days of outfield. (Ok well I'm just too lazy to recall.) and at least a hundred kilometer of walking. My skin have withstood the scorching sun and chilly evening wind. Its been a demanding 13 weeks. Today i stand tall in front of honored guests, instructors and a crowd of Singaporeans whom have come to see their friend, husband, brother or son pass out from the 44th Advance Section Leader Course. I won't know the feeling of receiving a silver bayonet or being commission by the president, however the feeling of having the two most important person in my life placing the chevrons on me, is juz priceless..pretty euphoric. No one can ever take that away from me.

Thanks mum&dad.

From a soldier and now a specialist. Pride doesn't come from anyone but yourself.
Do what you must and always be contented with who you are. Over mountains, crossing rivers, covering the distance. Such feats strips away your fears and anxiety once they're all done.

Reporting to Tekong Monday morning. Back to basics.
